Holy crap.
I have a lot of posts to catch up on.
I will start tomorrow. That tends to be over riding theme of Sketch A Day 2012.

SAD2012 #24 - Crossroads

Did you know that Indiana was the product of incest between Illinois and Ohio?
@TheBestFitz knows.
Saw this picture from AP...

I think the slogan is interesting because Mitt earns his money from investing, and if you believe Newt's plan to revise the tax code with an alternative flat tax, Mitt wouldn't pay any income tax. Mitt is running for President, but doesn't really have a job. And if you don't have a job you're not working. So kettle who's black now? The President, that's who.

Not really sure where I was going with that save I got myself hooked on livetweeting last night's debate.

SAD2012 #23 - Contact Lenses

Good for filming... because of the jump cut.
A doctor insists on his option for care. There is a political bent at the end which may or may not make literal sense.

SAD2012 #22 - Mountain Sheep

A viking goes to his neighborhood, yet contemporary, grocery.
Sometimes he has slept in a mountain sheep.
I believe this require some editings by my troth.

SAD2012 #19 & #20 - Opener & Office Party Crashers

So this weekend I worked not nearly as much as I hoped I would. BOO.
However with a bit more diligence, making beer and making sketches can be quite synergistic.

#19 Opener for a show, a bit nostalgic, a bit somber, not much of a bit. Probably another cop out sketch compared to...
#20 Two guys who are not so obviously welcome at an office christmas party.

SAD2012 #21 - Dinner Out

Based on a true to life story retold to me and then augmented, like augmented reality on a phone, but on a stage instead.
What happens when a lowland silverback hippy child gets her dreams shattered by a JerzShore Spoiler in a fine dining restaurant?

SAD2012 #17 - W

I think I've invented a character who lives in a lame script. My keyboard has started to fail on certain keys, namely some shifting and returning.
Coincidental? Probably not.

SAD2012 #8 - #16 - Catch up... almost.

A brief rundown because I know you missed it and I need to get keys pumping because I don't want to be more than one behind...

#8: I wrote about a little girl who commits the ultimate act of treason, internet piracy (boo sopa).
#9: What price would you pay to keep your mouth shut at work?
#10: This sketch is an ultrapremium aspirational brand. It's probably not for you.
#11: A cheap black out with a laser pointer. In the future.
#12: T O P S E C R E T #1. ( bizzarre )
#13: A security guard foils a crime, only get this, he's drunk.
#14: TV presenters get hunted on their travels. I've said too much.
#15: Cell phones and cars are dangerous. Really really dangerous.
#16: Did you know that Rick Santorum's wife dated a man 40 years her senior who actually delivered her? Yeah I know super creepy, but she had a great ass sooooo...

OK, on to write one new thing and only be one behind...

SAD2012 #7- How to ruin a show.

I wrote a first sketch for a show that doesn't exist with an uncasted cast. That would, hopefully, and efficiently, end the show before it starts and totally confuse the audience.
There is audience participation.
There is a crown.
There are tears.

I'm not sure I should go on with the process because of how awesome these two pages are.

SAD2012 #5 & #6 - Family Dinner and Liver & Onions

I succeeded at what I attempted last night. I got one longer sketch about a 50's family dinner with some strange subdued sexual tension and a black out about liver and onions.
Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with liver, onions, or their shared place on the plate.
Also doing two, I am one ahead.

SAD2012 #4 - Santorum!

I thought this would be better and easier when I thought of it this morning. I think this idea will get revisited as a full sketch as opposed to a series of extended blackouts.

Which reminds me I'm invoking a heretofore unspake rule: you can write a new sketch on the same theme, but not redraft a sketch.

Also note that I thought I'd get a bit of freebie with a black out and a sketch today and in theory could break up the three black outs, but because of integrity and merit, balls and gumption. I will not.

And for the cause of equality and right to privacy in your own damn bed among consenting adults:
Santorum

SAD2012 #3 - Toothpaste & Insomnia

This sketch was drawn from first hand experiences.
Again dabbles in the bizarre and absurd. I thought about it all day starting at about 3am. So it flowed pretty well and came rather smoothly. There was some detouring for medical jargon as well as a shout out to a doctor friend because I feel that fake accuracy is important in matters comedic.

SAD2012 #2 - Frog & Turtle

I wrote about technology in the swamp. I was slightly distracted by missing a sorta date to Second City and then I turned on the Blackhawks. But as long as it's play-by-play I don't get too distracted, just when commercials come on.

SAD2012 - #1

I wrote about a life alert pendant that becomes a little too friendly.
I felt like I rambled a bit on the dialogue and thought I'd be more efficient.
Not sure if the Jack Daniels helped.
Also have to not rely on the internet to immediately gratify my "how do you spell" or "is that accurate" instances.
